History Information 

248 Belgian soldiers of the First World War rested on the former Molenhoek military cemetery in Reninge. There are also 21 Commonwealth servicemen who died in the Second World War.

The cemetery was cleared in 1968. The Belgian graves were transferred to Hoogstade and Westvleteren. The British and Canadian graves to the British military cemetery of Adegem. transferred.

Some remnants of the former cemetery have been preserved.
