Plaszow Concentration Camp

Historical Information (Source: Wikipedia)

In 1942 Plaszow Concentration Camp was put into use on the site of two Jewish cemeteries. Many thousands of people died in this camp.

It was closed in January 1945 and the survivors were put on death march to Auschwitz. The camp became well-known by the Steven Spielberg-movie Schindler's List. Of the camp, nothing remained. Only one memorial.
