Fleurbaix, France - Indian Ceremony.

The tribute ceremony to the Indian soldiers who died in 14-18, took place in Fleurbaix on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 15.00h, at the British cemetery of Rue David.

 

44 Indian soldiers are buried here.

 

Ankan Banerjee, deputy ambassador of India in France, recalls in his speech the historical facts of the Indian presence in France and Belgium. The Exhortation is recited by Brigadier General Sudhir Kumar Sharma, military attaché at the embassy.
