In the shape of a triumphal arch. It was donated in 1924, along with the land on which it was built, by Mr. and Mrs. Edgar François, whose only son was killed in the fighting.

This war memorial, of exceptional dimensions for a small village, is located in a public garden and faces the castle. It consists of a vast stone arch overhanging the white statue of a proud, armed, furry man.

On the facade, the names of battles are inscribed on the pediment, while the names of the village fighters who died for France are inscribed on the pillars. Bas-reliefs adorn the monument on the facade and sides, representing symbols, departure, grateful France or scenes from the front. The entrance to the site is marked by two columns surmounted by sculptures of the French helmet, the "Adrian" helmet.
