100th Anniversary of the unveiling of the Regimental Cross at La Bascule Crossroads on the 11th November 1923.  

This is a very important event in the history of the Regiment and marks the important and heroic efforts of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment from 23rd-25th August 1914.
