Monument Lancaster DV396

In the night of 2 to 3 November 1944, Lancaster DV396 / PO-B of 467 Squadron RAAF crashed near the "Ferme du Vieux Pré" in La reid near Spa.

The plane had a bombing mission to Düsseldorf and was on its way back to its home base RAF Waddington.

The crew could bail out, except F/O Landridge and F/Sgt Lemin who jumped to low and where killed.

 

The DV396 crew consisted of:
