Zoutelande, The Netherlands - Monument James Ceremony 2019

A remembance ceremony was held on Monday 4th November 2019. The monument was unveiled on 4 November 2011. A memorial in honour of Flying Officer Reginald William James.

 

On 7 October 1944 his aircraft crashed between Zoutelande and Westkapelle. Pilot / Flying Officer Reginald William James, the sole occupant of the aircraft, was killed. He is buried in Northern Cemetery in Flushing (Vlissingen).
