Wednesday 5th October 2022 a remembrance ceremony was held for:

Pilot Officer Harold Wakeman RCAF, crashed on October 5, 1944, now 78 years ago, around 13.00h with his Hawker Typhoon IB JR366 near Veenendaal.  Harold Wakeman from Weston, Ontario, Canada was killed. The cause of the crash is not completely clear.

Son of Arthur Henry and Isabelle M. Wakeman, of Weston, Ontario, Canada.
