Leffinge Communal Cemetery

This death house was built in 1915 by German soldiers to a design by Hauptman Löwenstein. During the First World War, about 1,700 German soldiers were buried here. The bodies were transferred to the 'Soldatenfriedhof' of Vladslo shortly before 1958 and the original war cemetery turned into a cemetery for civilians.

There is also a plot of honour for Belgian veterans of the First and the Second World War.
