Helkijn Churchyard

Helkijn Chuchyard contains four Commonwealth burials of the First World War, one of which is unidentified.

 

These graves were brought in after the Armistice from a point between Helkijn Church and the sugar factory. The single burial of the Second World War dates from May 1940 and the withdrawal to Dunkirk ahead of the German advance.
