A rededication ceremony was held for Captain Cecil Thomas Tuff on Tuesday 14 May 2019 at the Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery. 

The body of Captain Tuff was buried in the cemetery after the Armistice when graves were brought in from the surrounding battlefields. He was not identified at the time and was therefore commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial to the Missing. Recent research has identified his last resting place and CWGC is now able to mark his grave with a new headstone bearing his name. 

Captain Tuff was attached to the 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment when he was killed in action on 18 April 1915 at Hill 60.

The service has been organised by the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre, Ministry of Defence and attended by family members, British Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
