BIOGRAPHY

Eudore was the first of 5 children of Philip and Alexina Boudreau, of Asbestos, Province of Quebec, Canada.  His father was an Assistant Manager of the Asbestos Mills.

Eudore did 7 years of High School and 2 years of University (Université du Sacre-Coeur Bathurst, New Brunswick).  Worked as a labouror. He played hockey (goal keeper) and Baseball.

Joined 7/11th Hussard June 1941 until enlistment 30 July 1943.

4 January 1944: Qualified as a driver.

31 July 1944: Suitability for operational duty as Driver IC.

4 August 1944: embarked for UK, disembarked UK 10 August and reported for duty the next day.

“Just arrived from Canada, in good spirits. He is a qualified driver but is not interested in driving .  Prefers the rifle, should carry on as a rifleman.”

31 August 1944: embarked for France and disembarked the next day.

 

5 October 1944: Eudore was brought to a General Hospital but died of his injuries sustained in action.
