Morschenich Communal Cemetery
The cemetery contains 22 German war graves: 21 from the Second World War and one from the First. Next to the graves stands a monument with two plaques bearing the names of victims of both world wars. Several of these perished during the massive bombing of Düren on November 16, 1944.
The monument and the graves were moved here in 2019 because the old village had to make way for lignite mining.
